About Lithora
Lithora started from a plain frustration: shipping software means gluing together an issue tracker, a docs tool, a pile of spreadsheets and a stack of CI dashboards, none of which understand your code. The work layer should be one connected graph, with an agent that does the work rather than talking about it.
The problem
Project management tools were built for managers, not for the people writing the code. So engineering teams bolt on their own layer, and the context that matters most scatters across tools that never talk to each other.
Issues in one app, docs in another, decisions in a chat thread, and the code in GitHub. Nobody holds the whole picture, and keeping the copies aligned is a second job.
A ticket does not know about the pull request that closes it, the CI run that failed, or the review that is blocking it. So status is always stale and updating it is manual.
A sidebar that summarises but cannot act is a nicer search field. We wanted a runtime that proposes a plan, waits for approval, then does the work.
Lithora’s answer is a single work graph — issues, docs, files and GitHub in one place — with an AI agent that reasons over all of it and ships under your approval.
Convictions
Four positions that decide every argument about the product.
A task should carry its pull requests, its docs, its discussion and its history. When work lives in one graph, both the team and the agent can reason about it.
Ours executes — decomposing sprints, drafting PR reviews, opening fix tasks — always behind a confirmation gate and under the approver’s own permissions.
We never show a success until the server confirms it. We label what is shipped against what is not, and we would rather say “public beta” than print a badge we have not earned.
Pull requests, commits, CI and reviews are first-class citizens of the work graph — not a read-only badge glued to the side of a ticket.
The name
From lithos — stone.
In a category of ephemeral software and disposable workflows, we wanted a name that meant solidity: bedrock your team’s work sits on, rather than another tab that quietly loses your context. The tool should do the busy work so you can do the deep work.
How we build
No borrowed logos. No invented testimonials. We are in public beta, so instead of manufactured credibility, here is the real thing.
A state machine with confirmation gates and an action audit trail, not a wrapper around a chat box. Built on Next.js, FastAPI and MongoDB, GitHub-native, with a programmable API and signed webhooks.
A public status page. A product we dogfood — this roadmap, these sprints and this page were planned and shipped in Lithora.
HttpOnly cookie sessions, Origin-checked mutations, per-tenant scoping, fail-closed webhook verification, and 30-day restorable deletes. SSO and SCIM are available on Scale. We are not SOC 2 certified, and we will keep saying so until it is real.
Seven-day trial on Pro and Scale, monthly billing only. Or read the long version of what Lithora does and how it works.
